Diary Of An Arcade Employee Podcast 1UP – Top 5 Imagic Games

3 min read

Friends, thank you for joining us once again for the Diary of An Arcade Employee Podcast, on this 1UP show I am going to be counting down the Top 5 Imagic Games for the Atari 2600 home console. As always I do my level best to share with you interesting facts about the games as well as those responsible for their creation – like Rob Fulop (Cosmic Ark), Bob Smith (Star Wars: The Arcade Game), and Dennis Koble (Atlantis). In addition to making sure that I provide my memories of first encountering these 5 titles in my youth as well as some of my fond recollections of playing the games – I have even managed to provide a few vintage audio treats for your listening pleasure during the podcast.

Save those Space Creatures and escape in the Cosmic Ark!

Much like with Activision, as I explain in this Diary of An Arcade Employee 1UP episode, when it came to companies you could trust back in the day – Imagic was one of the top three game studios. While the Vault computer was responsible for tallying up which of the five Image games made the list – I will gladly admit that Dragonfire is in fact one of my favorite Atari 2600 games of all time.

Remember that with this being a Diary of An Arcade Employee Podcast 1UP episode – it is intended to be a little more loose and a little shorter in running time… although that isn’t always the case.

So without further ado, act as my Player Two and step up as I discuss the history and legacies of the Top 5 Imagic Games for the Atari 2600 on this Diary of An Arcade Employee Podcast 1UP show!
