Reunited Apart With The Cast of Ghostbusters!

2 min read

Friends, as we mentioned just a couple of days ago – earlier today was the debut of a new episode of Josh Gad’s Reunited Apart. It also happens to be another huge digital reunion of some of our favorite entertainers and filmmakers courtesy of Zoom – we’ve had wonderful reunions already from such films as Back to the Future, The Lord of the Rings, The Goonies, Splash and now Ghostbusters!

Like with the rest of the films I just mentioned and as I have admitted before – there is something really great about seeing the cast and crew of these truly iconic films in pop culture get back together. In addition you can tell those involved with bringing us these beloved movies are also getting a kick of seeing each other again and chatting about what it was like to work on the film. And much like with The Lord of the Rings episode – Gad has assembled a surprising number of guests to appear on the show. You have Ivan and Jason Reitman, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, Sigourney Weaver, and I was very happy to see that Bill Murray also agreed to appear on the show. That is just the tip of the iceberg however as you also have William Atherton, Jennifer Runyon, Steve Tash, Michael Ensign, Ray Parker Jr., Timothy Carhart, and Kumail Nanjiani as the special guest. This will also probably not come as a surprise to any of you Ghostbusters fans – there is a rather moving discussion about the late and great Harold Ramis.

Okay, before I let you enjoy this wonderful Ghostbusters episode of Reunited Apart I have one more thing to say. Make sure to watch until the end of the show for a hint at the next episode – I personally yelled out loud in excitement when I realized what it is. Also there is a little bit of LANGUAGE in this particular episode but it doesn’t cross the line or anything – just a heads up if you have little kids around you when watching this.
